About Living Libations
Living Libations was founded by Nadine Artemis — beauty philosopher, aromacologist, and author of Renegade Beauty — alongside her husband Ron Obadia in 2008. The brand pioneered a category Nadine calls raw beauty: skincare formulated from minimally processed, wildcrafted plant matter, sourced directly from the plant's natural habitat rather than commercial farms.
The result is a range of essential oils, balms, serums and elixirs known for their potency, their purity, and their unmistakable aromatic depth. Living Libations is organic, microbiome-friendly, fair trade, and synthetic free.
The philosophy
Living Libations is rooted in the idea that skin doesn't need to be stripped, sealed, or saturated with active ingredients to function beautifully. It needs to be respected.
Nadine's stop, seal, seed approach focuses on stopping the use of products that disrupt the skin barrier, sealing in moisture with whole-plant oils, and seeding the microbiome with botanical compounds the skin recognises. It is a philosophy of less — but a more potent less.
The brand's most iconic product, Best Skin Ever, is a single bottle that functions as oil cleanser, moisturiser and treatment. A meditation on simplicity.

Living Libations sits at the pure botanical end of our product spectrum. It's the line we reach for when skin needs returning to itself — calming, simplifying, restoring the microbiome after a season of overuse. It's the first cleanse on many of our treatment beds. It's the seabuckthorn that finishes a sculptural ritual.

Best Skin Ever: the iconic multi-use botanical oil, one bottle for cleansing, moisturising and nourishing. Available in Seabuckthorn, Sandalwood and Rose.
Best Skin Ever Balm, Seabuckthorn: the balm version of the Seabuckthorn oil and a beautiful first cleanse. It melts into the skin.
Neroli Glow Polishing Crème Cleanser: a gentle daily cleanser with a fine polish, for skin that wants exfoliation without stripping.
Royal Rose CoQ10 Serum: a restorative facial serum for mature skin, or for skin whose tone and texture need reviving. One of my favourites.
Rose Glow Cream: a rich daily moisturiser, built around rose otto, for skin that runs dry, depleted or reactive. Another favourite.
All Seeing Opulent Eye Crème: a rich, nourishing crème for the delicate skin around the eyes.
