About Odacité
Odacité was founded in 2009 by Valérie Grandury, who created the brand following her recovery from breast cancer and a personal commitment to remove toxins from her life. French-born and California-based, she set out to bridge the rigour of French skincare she'd grown up with and the clean living ethos of her new home.
What began as bespoke formulations in her kitchen became a pioneer of the Clean Beauty movement. Today Odacité is sold in over 400 doors across 17 countries, formulated in the brand's own Eco-Cert lab in Los Angeles, and packaged in 100% recyclable Miron glass.
The philosophy
Odacité is built on what the brand calls Biocompatible Performance® — the idea that skincare should work with the skin, not against it. Every formulation uses ingredients the skin recognises, absorbs, and benefits from. No parabens, no petrochemicals, no synthetic fragrances. Ever.
Many Odacité formulas avoid water as a base — using aloe vera or other actives instead — which delivers higher concentrations of bioactive ingredients in every drop.
The result is skincare that delivers all three at once: efficacy, purity, and a sublime sensory experience.
